Clay County Talent Show 2

Two Saturday’s ago I competed in the Clay County Talent Show in Piggott, AR. I sang “Sky Full of Angels” like I told you before. I was in the 13-21 division this year and was the youngest in my division (I’m thirteen). Mostly everybody did really well! There were two bands that played and both were pretty good, two tap dancers, a guy who did those little Rubik’s cubes, a girl played the piano REALLY good, a girl played the guitar and sang “Our Song” by Taylor Swift, a guy sang a country song, and then there was me and then a dance group. The results were…..dadadadadada………..

1st: The girl who played the piano

2nd: ME!!!!!!!

3rd: One of the girls that did a tap dance routine

The overall Clay County winner: The other girl who did a tap dance routine

Now I get to compete in Memphis at the Mid-South Fair. This is the last year that it will be held in Memphis. After this year, it will be held in Tunica, Mississippi from now on. It would be TOTALLY AWESOME if you came and watched me at the Mid-South Fair tomorrow, and if I make it to the next round tomorrow, I will compete again Saturday. If I place Saturday, then I will sing again Sunday(the last day of the competition. My grandparents for Piggott, Arkansas, and my grandfather and Aunt from Biloxi are all here to see me perform tomorrow. They also watched my volleyball game tonight against Olive Branch. WE WON!!! Well I need to go to bed to get some good rest for tomorrow………………write to y’all later!!!!

Love’s in the Air and Everywhere!!!

By the way, sorry I haven’t written to y’all in forever. Been really, really busy lately.
Here’s the video:

Clay County Talent Show

This Saturday I’m going to Arkansas to compete in the Clay County Talent Show in Piggott Arkansas. Last year I competed in it and won first place in my division and got the most points from ages five through twenty! Since I won, I got to go to the Memphis Fair and compete and to Little Rock to compete. The song that I sang all three times was, “The Warrior is a Child.” It’s a great song! If you haven’t heard it, then you need to listen to it. Go to YouTube or somewhere to listen to it. My version from Little Rock last year is below. This year in the Clay County Talent Show, I’m going to be singing, “Sky Full of Angels.” That’s a great song too. Mrs. Stephanie Jett introduced me to the song. She let me borrow the CD from her to practice to sing for church. Well, she was really sweet and let me keep it, so I still have it and it’s one of the songs I do really good on, so I’m going to keep singing it for a while. Although this year I want to sing a new song for each place (If I win). I want to sing two Miley Cyrus songs from her CDs, but I don’t know how to get the words off of the tracks because they’re not karaoke. If y’all have any idea how to do it, please leave a comment telling me how to. I’m not that
good with computers and technology and stuff yet. My dad’s really good; he likes to experiment on any device whenever he can (even if he doesn’t know what he’s doing J ). My mom knows where to look everything up!! J

Mr. Kenneth Renshaw, my old piano teacher from Piggott (btw: he is REALLY good at piano, photography, and he works with NASA on some things!!! Cool right?), is in charge of the whole talent show. So if any of y’all want to enter or look up any info on the talent show just look him up and I bet you that there will be some stuff about it. I was in the twelve and under division last year, but this year I’m going to be in the eighteen and under division. WHOA!!!! Talk about competition (although there are not a lot of people who compete in the Clay County Talent Show)! Well I need to be going to bed. It’s late and I need to get rested up for the game against Lake Cormorant tomorrow (volleyball). Love’s in the air and EVERYWHERE!!!
